  1. Let us set Waypoints, Missions and load orders some turns in advance. 15 would be ideal for a long summer vacation.

    We could use the existing feature to set future waypoints in the starmap. Every waypoint should indicate a future turn.
    In the ship screen we can navigate between "now" and future turns (waypoints).

    Orders can be set regardless of future reality. For example I can order "load 200 moly" for my MDSF even if the next waypoint is in space and 86ly away.

    Every order that cannot be set the next turn will be ignored.

  2. When "pushing tin" - micromanaging all freighters, its somewhat inconvenient to have to reload all the Lady Royales I have orbiting with clans.

  3. When you give a diplomatic "share intel" or "alliance" you can give it in a Inconditional mode (+), independently whatever other player do, or in a Conditional mode (~) that you will give automatically the information if the other player also gives to you.

    Also, if you are in a conditional mode (~), and the other player take out the diplomacy, you automatically remove the sharing.

    player1 Incoditional (+), player2 nothing (-) => player1 shares, player2 no shares
    player1 Incodicional (+), player2 conditional (~) => player1 shares, player2 shares
    player1 Incodicional (+), player2 inconditional (+) => player1 shares, player2 shares

  4. As the losing party in a blitz game, I get booted out of the game for "losing" all my planets/ships/starbases. This prevents me from seeing the final results of my turn. I lost fair and square, but would like to see my last feeble gasp!

    Also, it would be nice if blitz games could stay around publicly, so that we could see how the other player reacted and what they started with.

  5. I see a message that says Starbase A built this ship. If I click on that message it should take me to Starbase A on the starmap. Currently it takes you to the last selected object.

  6. There is a big difference between a player that views his/her turn and isn't done with the final tweaks when the host runs and an inactive player that doesn't even look at his turn. I suggest that you stop counting viewed and acted on turns as missed turns. Please either create a third category or count them as completed.

  7. Add an "Average Ranked Finish" and post it next to a Players Tenacity Ranking. Take the average finish for all Classic and Campaign games and a separate average finish for Melee games. It would encourage players to finish high each game to increase their averages. It would allow other players another quick tool to judge a player's worthiness of alliance.

    This "Average Ranking" could also be used as a modifier to Leaderboard rankings to get the high finishers ranked above players that play 12 games at once and finish middle of the pack.

  8. When I play Planets.nu from my phone, the 'Back>' button on the scoreboard ends up in the same position as the 'End turn' button. Sometimes, the phone is running slow. This is indistinguishable from a missed (or misplaced) button press, and has caused me to accidentally end my turn before I was actually finished.

    In addition, in a Giant Melee game, it's useful to not have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the long list of dead and open players.

  9. I would like the ability to share VCR's with other players, without necessarily having to be a formal ally. The battles are the whole reason this game is so fun, so easy sharing of VCR's would let us all see more battles.

    This is also a great way to learn when starting out, by seeing what battles are effective or not.

    There are (at least) two possible ways to do this:
    1) Have a share button in the vcr interface to share a single vcr with another player.
    2) Have a permanent "always share vcr's" option for other races in…

  11. CSY found a bug in the Android version of Planets Nu. Putting a pound sign (#) anywhere in the message causes it and the portion following to be trimmed AND also to be posted as a new topic to the public feed.

    CSY can reproduce this problem both on my phone and in the BlueStacks environment.

  12. Would love to see some kind of balancing factor put into place for the Torp Races, particularly the Feds, who seem to be left behind with the new PBP system and the inclusion of the Horwasp, against which they cannot ever defend or prevail. Fighter races already overpower the Torp races and now a knew, powerful race that requires carriers to fight seems a bit much.

    Some kind of compensating factor would be nice.

  13. There should be a warning in the ship window that the ship is inside a Nebula and the cloaking feature (if it is a ship that can cloak) will not work.

    In the same area that displays a warning when the ship's path intersects a debris disk, or a star.

  14. I see information on planets that is completely wrong, which is fine except that it is presented to me by the game as fact. If it is information that my allies collected I don't even have any way of knowing how old the info is or what changes have taken place since it was gathered. Yet the game presents the info in the same manner as that which I gathered this turn, rather than having any indication that it is based upon old or imperfect data.

    Similarly, I have given ships to players whom I have intel-sharing with. The game…

  15. A starbase in a starcluster halo is significantly stronger than a normal base.
    It's difficult to impossible to simulate a fight against such a base in the VCR simulator (at least I didn't find a way).
    The simulator should get an option to allow for such fights.

Hey I've been testing nu on my android galaxy s2 and i see only two things so far that may need alterations the interaction between the map and the touch screen does not register the map as anything other than a none interactive picture either by having the dashboard as an app with a touch screen version of the starmap or inserting an onscreen (optional from menu) set of arrows as buttons that select planets automaticly or move a curser on map with a separate button for select and for un select this wouldn't restrict us portable players the second…

  17. Tweak the ranking system to achieve the following:

    • restrict the games to a specific overall rank
    • make bad players lose some race specific achievement points
    • punish droppers by removing some more of their race specific achievement points

    My detailed idea of a League based setup would be:

    Junior Officer games:
    - Only new players can join.
    - all score as usual
    - droppers with more then 1% military score loose game achievements
    - If you get killed or drop with less then 1% mil score you keep your achiements.

    Officer games:
    Lt and Lt-Com only
    - droppers (with +1%mil) loose…

  18. In a team game if a player drops out, the other team members should be able to take control of the missing player's planets/ships/etc without having to fight to take over those planets. They are already an ally but with no player controlling them.

  19. When We are ordering a Ship Build at a StarBase, having the posibility to Save Ship Config As Template.
    Then being able to use that, at other StarBases (and other Turns) to order a build from a Ship Template (al long as we meet the minimum tech requirements at the given StarBase)
