Balance out the Torp Races.
Would love to see some kind of balancing factor put into place for the Torp Races, particularly the Feds, who seem to be left behind with the new PBP system and the inclusion of the Horwasp, against which they cannot ever defend or prevail. Fighter races already overpower the Torp races and now a knew, powerful race that requires carriers to fight seems a bit much.
Some kind of compensating factor would be nice.

Letting Torps fire a little sooner might well have the desired impact. Torp bonus vs. Horwasp would balance things and also increase the rock-paper-scissors nature of races that makes the game appealing. But probably hard to code.
Torps doing extra damage might be far easier and also have the desired effect. Or increase Torp accuracy.

To make the torp races more resilient against fighter races, either ships with more beams (say 12 for the battleship, up from 10) which could knock out an additional 4 fighters before they get to the ship.
Or, fast charging beams like the Facsists, which would allow 3 or 4 volleys to be fired, which could knock out 40 fighters (up from 20) before they get to the ship.
