    you can not simulate the shield Generators as well.

    How about making game so all players are treated as if non- premium for the game.

    Yes, Low Tech game can be great fun.
    but as the Crystls you need Premium to lay and scoop up mines.
    They work best if you can be Premium for everything but Starbase Tech levels set to max T6 unless natives bring it up.
    with homeworld engins set to tech 7.

    Well it's now 2 1/2 years and there doesn't see to be much happening with this. hope that changes at some point.

    The killing floor years ago and lots of good orders but some that was missing:
    1. attack ships with shields (for your torp ships).
    2. attack ships without shields

    Would like to know what days of the week game is going to host after 15 days at turn 1.
    I am playing in games that I would not have started playing if I had known they were MWF.
