Games starting at 7/week, dropping to 3/week and ending at 2/week
Right now you can either join a fast game (7/week dropping to 3/week after 15 turns), or a slow game (2/week all the way through).
Much more useful would be a game that runs 7/week for a brief period, then drop to 3/week until the shiplimit is hit, and then 2/week from then on

What I like of this idea is dropping to 2 turns/week after sometime.
Looking at some stadistics, ship limit might be too early (taurus was 25, average was turn 42). But it could be hard coded to something like 50.

I find this the best possibile scheduling... fast start (when you can play your turn in as little as a handful of minutes), quick growth by 3 turns / week and then a plateau of 2 turns / week to play to your endgame... I'm voting for this proposal.

Would like to know what days of the week game is going to host after 15 days at turn 1.
I am playing in games that I would not have started playing if I had known they were MWF. -

7/week as fast start is too much for 2/week games imo. I would prefer something like
Turn 1-15 : every second day
Turn 16-25 : 3 turns a week
Turn 26+ : 2 turns a week -

I love my three 2/week games! But, the beginning turns are so sloooow. A turn a day beginning almost defeats the purpose of joining a slow game. How about a 3 or 4 turn a week start for 15 days and then slow down to 2?
