An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Psydev commentedI did a test where I resigned from the game after the opponent dropped. It got counted as a loss for me (after I was already given a win for the opponent dropping because he missed 3 turns).
Does anyone know what happens if the remaining player simply misses 3 turns and is dropped themselves? Will it count as a loss there?
An error occurred while saving the comment Psydev commentedI actually thought I had to keep playing otherwise it would drop me and I wouldn't get credit for the game....
An error occurred while saving the comment Psydev commentedWhy hasn't anything been done about this yet? It's still an issue... The game should simply end.

An error occurred while saving the comment Psydev commentedI kind of like the idea that one side gets an advantage. The rationale for this system was to make "defending" carriers have an advantage against "attacking" carriers (i.e. the ones with primary enemy set, and/or kill mission set). The carrier not set to attack will have an advantage.
I disagree with the randomness idea. Randomness is generally not fun.

An error occurred while saving the comment Psydev commentedI like this idea. The only problem with this is that some races are terrible in Blitz, e.g. Evil Empire and Cyborgs. Privateers are a coin-flip, depending on who they're against.
If this function is to be implemented (and it sounds like a good idea, because it would encourage people to try new races), there should be some way to exclude some races from the lottery.

I did another test. If the remaining player then misses his turns, he gets dropped and it gets counted as a loss. (So he gets both a win and a loss).
