  1. I just signed up for a premium membership for my account (username: jonmangwj). I tried to use the referral link my buddy gave me: http://planets.nu/#ref=21285

    However, when I click the link, I get directed to my account homepage (http://planets.nu/#/account/jonmangwj), and when I click through to the Upgrade page, there's nowhere to note the referral.

    I'm using Firefox on Win7.

  2. Game: http://play.planets.nu/#/sector/69099
    Turn: 105
    Ship: 85 (unknown owner)

    In turn 104 this ship (10 crew) was towed into a radiation halo by Rush 267. It got unowned in the process. So it clearly was not at the nearby p210 from where another FCC chunneled away. But it still joined this chunnel to p468 and was there in turn 105 as an unowned ship.

    Btw: In turn 105 also the distant towing display bug occured, see http://planets.uservoice.com/forums/136520-general/suggestions/5463378-bug-new-appearance-of-bug-distant-towing.
    When opening the turn the FCC was displayed as being towed by Rush 267 but these ships were 100s of LJ away.

  3. This is like usualy building queue, except it starts with random planets and maintain by the time the building order hold, not the number of planet, like now.
    make this option at the game start. The other option is: reset the queue if the ship was redesigned. Two options total.
    FIFO means :the ship is ordered to build first will build first. PBP means the shps may be build for PBP points also.the fc PBx mean the ship will build for bp in the priority queue, as usualy. This does not affect the global queue.

  4. Not sure if this bug is the same as Bug: Incorrect alchemy fuel calc because my alchemy does not move and has 1 kt of fuel.

    When the FC is set to alm, ald or alt adding 300 kt supplies so the next turn you get 100 kt of a mineral shows:
    +99 in the UI for the given mineral;
    -297 in the UI for the supplies.
    Next turn the Alchemy ship only produces 99kt of the given mineral.
    This bug is reproduced for all numbers that are multiple of 3 (but not multiple of 9).

  5. The officers page only show turns played and achievement points on the new site. This is different from the old site from what I understand. It would be useful to see where my officers are at experience wise as I am unable to login to the old site area. Could this be added?

  6. Some players prefer to play to a fixed schedule.
    But with the current system there is pressure to complete their turn early, because other players may be impatient to get their next turn.
    And everyone can see who has or has not finished their turn yet. This also affects diplomacy, because the slower players are often attacked first in the hope that eliminating them will speed up the game.

    I would like to see a "no early host runs" checkbox in the game settings, with the following effects:
    1. Host always runs exactly on schedule, ignoring finished/unfinished turns and holiday…

  7. A friend of mine can access advanced account info by going to "how to play" and clicking on his username which appears on the far right. In the same place "Sign in" appears for me. When I click it and try to sign in (again, being already signed in on the main area) it says "Unable to sign in. Please try again." Using the same login id and password that works on the main site.   8. I have a star drive 1 Neutronium Refinery ship that I want to move 19 light years away, to another planet. I set the way point to this planet and the UI shows me that she will take 1 turn. But if I set the waypoint just 1 light year away from the destination planet, it shows me, correctly, 2 turns.

    It has already happened to me with other ships travelling at other speeds, like warp 7.

  9. It would be helpful for the ship hull to be displayed on a hover for allied ships in addition to the ship's name. As it is now, you have to select each ship to see what hull type it is.

    And on the planet screen, when you have a note entered for the planet, the text doesn't change blue until you have read the note at least once.

  11. It will be good to see beside the military power, planets and data statistics on the game page the :

    • destroyed enemy tonage
    • lost own tonage
    • defences destroyed
    • own planetary defences lost -ships donated/received from other races

    one can see if true glory of a race even if it destroyed at least that race fought or was a supporting race.

  12. In Campaign games it sais in the description that new technologies must be researched first. However, it is also necessary to ACTIVATE them.

    Since I missed this small detail I researched the tech but wasn't able to use it properly. Therefore it would be nice if the campaign game description also included the information that researched technology must be activated before joining the game.

  14. Email settings and alerts.

    Is it possible to have a few email settings for both the user and the hosted games.

    As a user I might want to set myself a reminder if I haven't finished a turn in a game that is hosting in a few hours or if I'm a host in a private game I may want to send a reminder to those who haven't finished to get them going.

    As a user I also want to turn off New Turn messages for games, especially sandbox, single-player or private games.

  15. In VGA Planets one was able to send pods from one planet to another, or attach them to ships to send large amounts of stuff. This was great. Now I need to use ships to burn lots of fuel just to send megacredits to a base that is not doing very well...

  16. you can transfer unlimited supplies to another ship. for xample in a game my large deep frieghter just transfered 2700 supplies to allies merlin. i should only be allowed to transfer 1200 in one turn, not unlimited amounts.

    Turn 100
    I tow 2 Fireclouds from different worlds to the same locations with 2 Meteors.
    This turn: 1 FC is on that location the other is lost. There is no tow break message, but a web mine message say that this second FC is out of fuel.
    But i dont tow capture it.
    What happend there??? I want that FC, if he is out of fuel. In the other case my Virgo will kill him!
    That an important ship, because the borg try to rescue his 8 Bios on that world.

    s113: Mission: Tow ship 494: Mupfel 4
    s494. Waypoint: Towed by #113 to (1647, 1762)

    Distance between both ships is 48,7 LJ. Minor bug if it's just a
    display issue, major bug if it also affects tow resolution.

  20. Allow Ensign (or even Lieutenant) officers in "New Player Melee" games. Right now, the "New Player Melee" games only allow max of Midshipmen. Issue I have is that if you tried out the tutorial, or a small blitz game against the AI to learn the basics of a race then you get promoted to Ensign immediately.

    The only other option for Melee Games seems to be the one that allows any rank, so newer players are forced to play in games where other players have a bunch of their super abilities unlocked.
