Don't penalize the winner(s) of a game that all voted to end early.
If all remaining players in a game agree to end early, allow them to post their agreement message on the game site stating so. That game could then end early with the winner or winners getting their full bonus for winning the game. Right now the winners lose their bonus which then forces games to drag on for weeks when all concerned know the final outcome.

Let's have more fun, play more games instead of playing tedious turns.

I voted for this because it makes players more happy to end a game by vote than by drop if they don't want to go on. But I strongly suggest that _all_ players have to agree. It's a war and not a democracy simulatiopn. And of course such a game shouldn't give achievement points to prevent exploits and a distortion of the leaderboard. Ok, maybe 1 point per planet for all as acknoledgement of their effort would be ok if 100+ turns were played.

If the players decide to end a game early, all they need to do is transfer enough planets to the "winner" to allow them to meet the win conditions. This has been done in games previously and it works.
If a game ends without meeting the win conditions, then the "winner" hasn't earned the bonus.

I can even live with a partial bonus. Or no bonus at all.
