  1. I recently joined a game with the Lizard race (http://planets.nu/games/46732). I set the CLOAK mission but it doesn't seem to work, when the turn runs the mission resets to EXPLORATION. I've already lost a couple of ships to this issue.

  2. Looks like the Stellar Cartography maps are very interesting and seem to have been developed by a Bird fan. ;-) I don't mind making it a bit easier on the Birds, they NEED it! But how about throwing a bone to the poor Evil Empire? They also could use some help...so why on earth give an added advantage to the Cyborgs? As if they need help?? I'm referring to the Nebula rule stating:

    "The Cyborg B41 Explorer and the Birdman Swift Heart Class scount are equipped with a Neb Scanner which will automatically detect planets and ships inside a nebula…

    The Evil Empire can travel through debris disks with large ships. Something no other race can do. Its a big advantage. The campaign mode balances things up.

  3. In the old VGA planets you could assign a different colour for each race. Planets and ships could have their own colour. So if there are two enemies on your border next to each other you could see which planets are belongs to say the purple race and which belongs to the red race

  4. A privateer ship that is seen around a planet and unable to cloak should not be able to rob an attacking ship when the attacking ship enemy is set at privateer and mission set to kill.

  5. When I use SuperSpy I've been hitting a good number of mines very early in my travels, such as between 1 - 5 lyrs or so. I can certainly believe that bad luck can come into play, but its happened so much that it would be nice if someone could check the code to make sure that SuperSpy is also factored as being cloaked when travelling through mines.

    I've had one journey where I've hit 2 consecutive mines, after 4 lyrs and then 5 lyrs of travel.

    The next turn I hit two more on separate occasions after 1 lyr…

  8. As I'm playing in 5 different games at any given time, it's difficult for me to remember what my plans were for each individual ship when I submitted my previous turn.

    Adding a feature that would allow us to see where our ships moved from on the previous turn would be very helpful. Currently I need to go to the time machine and view my previous turn just to see what my strategy/thought process was for the individual ship. A simple colored or dotted line showing the ship's previous turn movement while the ship is selected would be an easy…

  10. Hi team,

    me (emork the lizard king) can't find the homeworlds for my non-active races. The homeworlds for my races with running games are there (Klingons, Crystals, Rebels). But I also won games as Lizard and Fed. I tried for half an hour now but I can't find a way to access these race's homeworlds.
    FYI: Now I resigned my Rebel game yesterday. I still can see the homeworld despite of this race being non-active now.

    Little addition: "clone ships" has to be researched (it's free of cost) and activated for all my races. Regular cloning should be added as…

  11. The Crystal in this game are laying web mines with one ship and scooping them with another. This would be fine, except I am hitting them when I move, and according to host order, movement should happen after scooping. So effectively they can lay a mine field and scoop it in the same round, I can never sweep it, and my ships are draining of fuel and hitting the mine field like it is still there. If this is not fixed quickly it will cripple my growth in this game, and I was the leader for almost this entire game.

  14. BUG ALERT ! I AM PLAYING AS EVIL EMPIRE IN GAME "34456 FARPOINT" . MY FRIGATE (SHIP ID 318) HAS LAID MINES IN BOTH OF THE LAST TURNS ( VIEWABLE ON TIME MACHINE ) . BUT THERE IS STILL NO VISIBLE MINE FIELD AROUND THE PLANET IN QUESTION ( PLANET ID 230 ) .

  15. When I log onto the new server it takes for ever. When I am eventually in I cant see my home worlds or get into any of my games. When I try display my profile it is just a blank screen, when I try and post a comment it takes me to a blank profile screen.

    Think there is something wrong with my profile.

  16. Crystal web mine "BUG" Write ReplyEdit Post
    As an old veteran VGA planets player I remember that a bug existed that allowed a Crystal player to lay webminefields at the same position. This bug was fixed in THost!

    Unfortunately VGA PLANETS NU have introduced this bug again. Especially in the Giant Melee games where the maximum number of webminefields with center at the same position is large enough to be ridiculous.
    To make it even worse the players fighting the webmines are not given any information about which players have allowed the Crystal player to lay webmines in their ID.

  17. I just played a single player game and it came down the computer having one planet. But the computer had tech levels I could not achieve. I lost 10 of my highest tech ships to a single ship, inflicted less than 5% damage on the last go. And the computer had 20 more.

    I doubt I could even win after the computer ran out of resources.

  18. The ship selection screen for when you perform a tow/intercept mission, or transfer cargo, is bugged, sometimes to the point where you cannot effectively micromanage your cargo and/or missions.

  19. It would be nice if we could have both checkboxes for starbases and planets when in the planet screen and vice versa.

    especially in the mid and endgame, when you have 50+ star bases, you only need to manage the border bases and those in front of the build queue.

    being able to quickcheck the 'unimportant' bases from the planet view would speed up the gameplay while still having the checkbox feature

  20. In the Carillon System on turn 12 - 1 Priv ship robbed 2 of my ships in the same turn. In the message log it reads...
