An error occurred while saving the comment Lord Helmet commented+1
It's really annoying if you had a screen open and return to the message board to view the next planet/ship. After clicking the message the map moves to the new position but the old screen is still open. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Lord Helmet commentedOh, that's what happened to me, too!
I wondered why two of my ships had the same name, and thought this would have been my own mistake. Also I think this might be possible with friendly codes, too. I had an Ill wind with FC 'pop' right next to my exploding D19, and I was sure it was supposed to make torps at the time... -

An error occurred while saving the comment Lord Helmet commentedActually there is a solution. It's a nice use case for a userscript called "super filter".
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/132440
(If you need help how to install userscripts or for this special user script, just ask in the forums. Would be easier to help you if you weren't anonymous...)
From the Main menu go to star ships and enter the filter text into the box. The filtered ships will be in the list of the starmap when the filter check box is checked.
Filter text could be something like this ("east" is the part of your ship name you use to group them):
return ship.name.match(/east/g);
or if you use the first 2 letters of the ship name:
return ship.name.substr(0,2)=="eo";There might be even a way to put it in a ship note (not publicly in the ship name) and retrieve it this way, but that's more complicated.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lord Helmet commentedFull allied ships show the same info as own ships - that's why the owner is not indicated (you wouldn't need to see your own name on every own ship). Just split that if-clause and add the required information.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lord Helmet commentedUntil a search bar is implemented I suggest following workaround to find your thread:
- Go to your games screen (planets.nu/home)
- click the link to your private game (xxxxx: Blitz 1-1 or something)
- click the link to the game thread (hinted by Discussion)
That's three clicks, not too hard, is it ;)
Looking forward to a search function though (I know, google is great, but still...)
You can use the Enter key to close transfer screens etc.
