Set Waypoints
Allow you to preplan a ship's movement several turns in advance by using waypoints. The ship would only move this turn up to the first waypoint but if I don't change the ships move orders it would move to the second waypoint the next turn.
This could be implemented by using the shift key. If I click shift and somewhere on the map that is a first waypoint, and if I click shift and a second place on the map that is a second waypoint, etc. Clicking anywhere on the map without using the shift key sets a new 1-turn course that deletes previous waypoints.
Released to all. You may use your votes again!

Used this a lot when playing Planets4 it was a very useful tool especially for your logistics fleet when many frfieghters can be set to complete a collection round you can evedn use FC to automate it even more.

Particularly useful if one ship can select another ship's waypoint as its move destination. I grow tired of trying to click on the same (x, y) coords for each ship in the task force.

This a useful feature but accourding to my experience not as useful as you might think. Things change every turn and often you have to react by changing your plans. So sometimes it's useful and sometimes your planing in advance is wasted time. If you're about to miss a turn then it can be very useful of course. You would want to place load/unload-orders then.

very useful tool, those auto-waypoints that have been implemented in winplan.
hardly anybody seemed to use them, but they are gold... and a good alternative to a week's holiday replacement. -
