Ballistic Trajectory
Just spit balling a new wacky idea. With the Stellar Cartography add-on, it now becomes necessary to plot courses to avoid obstacles.
I have no idea how feasable this is. What i'm thinking of is instead of plotting courses in a straight line, have the game offer mathematical arcs available to your ships to travel along to avoid star clusters and debris disks. Something that would look at your waypoint, your speed, and give you a selection of arcs that would get you to your destination, while avoiding an obstacle.
Is this even possible?

A simple 3 point arc beginning, final destination mid point with appropriate desired deflection around obstructions. 2 45's on either side like with gas/electric utilities. set up massive fleet cruise at warp 0 around starbase doing doughnuts planetary style. cuz always bog down like tanks in citys
